NEC to Sell Photomask Business to DPN

According to Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Japanese DPN (Dai Nippon Printing) and NEC have signed an agreement whereby NEC will sell its photomask business to DPN around June, 2007. Under the agreement, DPN will acquire all stakes in NEC's wholly owned subsidiary NEC Fabserve, which is involved in photomask production, and take over approximately 140 employees in this segment as well. Financial details concerning this deal were not yet disclosed.
